TheAll Star list is out recognizing the GRALL players for the 2006 season. Alex Caton from McQuaid Jesuit was selected as "Player of the Year". The GRALL coaches selected senior midfielder Scott Mosher from Livonia as the 2006 USLacrosse Academic All American.

Penfield played a close game with Schroeder and was the 11-9 winner. Rush Henrietta also won an 11-9 victory, there game against host Irondequoit.

Penfield, Schroeder and Fairport have now proved the idea that parity is alive and well in the Monroe County Class A teams. In other close games today, Brockport beat Athena/Odyssey by one goal as did Aquinas in their game with McQuaid Jesuit.

There were nine games scheduled for Tuesday. Schroeder was a 14-7 winner over host Irondequoit. Eastridge won its first game of the season. R-H was the winner in their close game with McQuaid Jesuit and Penn Yan beat Carthage.

# 1633  GRALL All League List for 2005 Announced

The Greater Rochester Area Lacrosse League coaches recently announced the list of all stars for 2005. This is the second year for the league and for its list of exceptional players. Aquinas goalie, Jason LaShomb and Haverling defenseman Alex Durham were named GRALL 2005 Co-Players of the Year.

It's been a long first varsity season for Midlakes, but today was a day for celebration as the Eagles won a 7-6 overtime victory over visiting Haverling. In other contests, McQuaid Jesuit, Thomas and Schroeder were all winners.

# 1622  Thursday: HFL, McQuaid Jesuit, Victor, Pittsford

The rematch of HF-L and Brighton drew attention tonight and the Cougars again were the victors, but in a closer game than back in early April. McQuaid Jesuit won another game by a single goal, as did Victor in their game with Waterloo. Canandaigua's Head Coach John Johnson won his 350th game. Ten other games were played in Section Five on Thursday.
